(a quick post before we leave for our evening commitment)
I spontaneously re-arranged Myra's room yesterday and thought, while I was at it, I would tighten the bolts on her crib rail. Myra totally loved using her screw driver "fisher price wand" and playing inside the crib frame. (Mental note for the next cranky episode....) :D
A good friend made Myra this great bean bag chair. So fun!
(she fits completely underneath it!)
I was inspired to do more crafty things with Myra (thanks Lisa!) so yesterday I pulled out stickers and paper. Myra spent almost 20 minutes transferring stickers onto her paper! I was surprised at how much she enjoyed the activity since previously anything "sticky" resulted in many many tears. Today I made play dough - again Myra LOVED it! She kept saying "mo mommy" so I would keep making her more balls. :D I found some edible finger painting recipes online so maybe we'll try that soon too.
Madagascar has become a favorite movie here at home and Myra is often crawling around the house roaring like Alex the lion. She loves it the most if she can get us to join her :D
In other news...Tim noticed our ceiling was bulging so he poked it and sure enough it made a hole and was leaking. This is the hole now - the leak was fixed and we're just waiting to make sure there are no extra leaks before the ceiling gets patched. The pail hanging by the window is catching a separate leak - they'll have to replace the siding and whole window to fix it so it will take a while yet.
until next time...
