Lindsey, from Filth Wizardry posted this craft on Alpha Mom's blog. It looked simple and fun, so I decided to try it here at home. I originally thought we would make many many hearts, put magnets on the back of them, and send them out as valentines. Instead, we made only a few, and on Myra's suggestion, turned them into little popsicle heart friends.

Since taking "Chicka, Chicka, Boom, Boom" out from the library and recently watching episodes of "Word World", it seems Myra's recognition of letters is exploding!

Looks like you've been having lots of fun. We've been watching a lot of word world here too, Jotham's been finding letters everywhere, but has no interest in writing them. Its so fun seeing our kids learn new things. Can't wait to see you.
Oh and Isaiah does look so cute in the soccer outfit, it was a favourite of mine for Jotham too.
