After coffee, I came home and did my saturday chores (second bedroom, second bathroom) and was inspired to finish doing the inventory/packing of Myra's stuff. Here is a picture of the six bins of baby clothes that I have for her - 98% donated/given by others. We have been so blessed. :)
Today was Myra's baby dedication. Here she is posing in her pretty white dress.
It was also a sending service for all the people doing summer ministries at camp and for us going to AMBS. In my anticipation of going on this "adventure", it wasn't until today that I paused to consider how much I will miss Emmanuel and the friends we are leaving behind. They presented us with a beautiful wall hanging and numerous cards and encouraging comments. I'm so grateful for all the experiences we have had here.
The beginning of the "lasts" has arrived and mixed emotions have started crashing into each other within me. I'm excited to go and sad to leave. In many ways it is a time of reflection that highlights all the ways God has blessed us in the past and brings peace for all the unknowns of the future.

Here is a picture of Myra trying the Bumbo seat for the first time. You'll notice a pillow behind her head to prevent her giving herself whiplash as her head is heavy and her neck muscles still a bit weak.
Finally, you can celebrate with us that our condo has sold! and within $3000 of our asking price. If anyone is in need of a realtor in the Fraser Valley we highly recommend the Siebert Team - they are fantastic!

Great post Char! Loved the coffee Saturday morning as well - the reality of you moving is sinking in but I too am choosing to trust in the God that holds our future - as sisters, friends but mostly his precious children. Love you so much! Grateful for today that you are only a hop, skip and jump away.
Congratulations on Myra's dedication!(is that what you say for a dedication?) Love that dress she was wearing. I'll be praying that in the mix of emotions you're experiencing that you and Tim are able to enjoy these last months and moments you'll have with family and friends. See you soon!
Yeah for the bumbo chair, Aiden loved it and it was fun to have him "sit" at the table with us when we were eating.
Baby dedication is sooo special, to just publically declare that you are going to raise Myra into the women of God he created her to be. I know God is going to use you to do just that.
