Afternoon Fun!

You may or may not know that I like listening to country music ...much to Tim's disappointment. :) So, because of this, I only listen to country music when I am at home by myself or by myself in the car. This afternoon, I thought I would put on some country music while I made perogies and Myra played. I caught her "bopping" to the music - it was so cute. Here's a video of her "dancing" to some Alan Jackson. (sorry about me singing in the background - it was the only way I could get Myra to dance and not just stare at the camera.)

When Tim saw this video he said: "I think she's trying to shake off the evil music!" - ha ha - :D

In other news....Myra has finally figured out crawling! :D so fun!! She took her first "steps" on Super Bowl Sunday - if you look closely you can see the football on the screen behind her :)

That's all for today :D

cheers!

I agree with Tim - that's definitely a baby trying to shake the music off - like when you have sticky goo on you and you just can't get it off - you twist and turn, and shake - if only she were old enough to control the music herself - then she could finally be free. It's a shame when parents subject their children to such terrible, terrible music. Keep the faith Tim! Rock & Blues all the way baby!

I agree with that last comment to a large part Tim. Though, I'm not sure it's a correct interpretation. In fact, it seems to be fairly obvious that the music and speaking was dubbed in after that video was shot. Charlotte must be very good with imovie. Tim you should post the original here so that people can see what Myra was really dancing to - that is, unless Charlotte hasn't already deleted the original. Don't loose faith Tim - you're daughter is a beautiful and smart girl - she's in her right mind - and no one in their right mind would listen to country.

Those two comments did sound a lot like Tim :). I think its a cute movie, and there's nothing wrong with country music. It was what we listened to on the radio in the car with mom and dad Tim, so somewhere deep down I'm sure you have fond memories of country music.
