It's been a very exciting afternoon! :D I am now a licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Minnesota - yay! That means that I passed the NCLEX (the big USA nursing exam). So....one more item off the list of things that need to happen before I can work here.

Oh! and for those of you who don't know yet ...it's official! We will be spending the summer in Abbotsford! Crazy news, I know, but I wasn't sure how long the job hunting/licensing/work visa process would take so we thought that I could work in Abby and spend time with family while the paperwork gets sorted out. Tim will be back here for 4 weeks of classes but other than that he will be with us. We are definitely looking forward to seeing friends and family and being in familiar places. :D

So that is the news for the day :D

Here are some pictures of Myra for your enjoyment.

Bathtime fun...

"I wear my sunglasses at night..."

Having fun playing outside with daddy...

After inspecting the bike, Myra turned around to walk the other direction and promptly tripped and fell. Unfortunately her hands weren't quite quick enough so she banged her head on the cement and got quite the goose egg. This is my attempt at keeping ice on the wound ...it didn't last long. :D Fortunately, baby wounds heal quite quickly and Myra was ready to explore the outdoors within a half hour. Her goose egg faded in a day and now is barely noticeable. (Tim thinks she has healing qualities similar to Wolverine - ha ha)

Having a play date with Kai... Both Kai and Myra squeal with delight when they see each other and then proceed to "play" by forcefully grabbing toys from one another's hand. :D Neither of them seem to mind this form of interaction which is quite amusing for Hannah and me.

Chillaxin' in the swing...

Until next time... :D

Congrats Charlotte!! Way to go. And how exciting that you get to spend summer in Abbotsford. I'm sure it will be a very refreshing time for you.

So Tim, you will have to carefully monitor Myra's future healing process, according to my sources powers tend to increase at puberty. Also to fully meet her potential it is best to slowly increase the size of injury, (you may want to do this when Charlotte isn't looking).

waylon

p.s. if Myra does have super powers you may want to tell charlotte not to blog about it.

Congratulations!!! Very inventive ice wrapping. ben did almost the same thing but i was not as creative with the ice... Ben just screamed while i tried to hold it on his head. I do think that he might have a permanent dent on his forehead from the spill :) As always, Myra is looking so cute!!!
