Adventures and Parties

We're starting to have some nicer weather around here these days,
so Myra likes to go exploring:

Here she is following a lovely trail in the grass while proudly wearing
her Canucks t-shirt to support their playoff run (Woo-Hoo!)

And here she has found a patch of dirt

And a little flower in the patch of dirt.

I guess she ran out of energy on the way home, cause all of a sudden
she lay down on the sidewalk for no apparent reason...

Of course, as you all know from below, her birthday arrived on Sunday
so we had a party for her.

Here is her birthday cake

And of course, here she is, smiling after blowing out the candles.
she did this surprisingly well, apparently kids can learn things from
Curious George...

And of course, here she is eating the cake. No concern for
proper etiquette as you can see.

And, smiling with Mommy

"For me?!" Yup, she got lots of gifts.

Very impressed with the Polly Pocket cars from her friends.

And enamoured by the "quiet book" from Grandma Froese.

And playing with her very own computer from Uncle Dan, Auntie Lynn,
and cousin Ethan. We're just glad it's not a Windows machine :-P

No fancy dress could keep her from playing

Fun with friends all evening long.

Yup fun fun fun. A good time was had by all!
