The Great Pancake Caper!
One morning last week, it occurred to me suddenly that Isaiah was very quiet. After a quick search, I found he had managed to climb onto a chair and was in the process of sneaking pancakes. :D It was so cute I had to capture the moment.
A few minutes later, when he came to find me, I thought it would be prudent to quickly check where he had been sitting and assess the mess/damage. Surprise! - No mess to be found and half eaten pancake carefully placed back on the plate. haha.... these are the kinds of moments that bring smiles in my day.
Playing with Cars
Yesterday I found five of the mini playskool/tonka vehicles, together in a bag, at MCC, for $1.00! :D They have been the toys of choice for 2.5 hours now and I am REALLY enjoying the quiet happy chatter of contented playing. Isaiah follows Myra around and tries to imitate where and how she is playing, all the while making appropriate vehicle noises and saying "Go! Go!". Myra has broken up the cars into family groups and has extensive conversations between them, changing her voice to be high pitched for the babies and lower for the mommy or daddy. .....the differences between boys and girls? :D
"the mommy car"
"these are the kids...and I'm making a house for them. The daddy is sick so he is at the doctor's..."
