Playing with Cars

Yesterday I found five of the mini playskool/tonka vehicles, together in a bag, at MCC, for $1.00! :D They have been the toys of choice for 2.5 hours now and I am REALLY enjoying the quiet happy chatter of contented playing. Isaiah follows Myra around and tries to imitate where and how she is playing, all the while making appropriate vehicle noises and saying "Go! Go!". Myra has broken up the cars into family groups and has extensive conversations between them, changing her voice to be high pitched for the babies and lower for the mommy or daddy. .....the differences between boys and girls? :D

"the mommy car"

"these are the kids...and I'm making a house for them. The daddy is sick so he is at the doctor's..."

Too cute! Glad to see the kids are having fun with cars together, and it's interesting to see how differently they play! Boys and girls are definitely different.

Char, I can't believe how big they are getting! So cute. I loved the sheepish pancake stealing picture.

It's always great when the kids can play together so well. And I see those differences daily; boys and girls really do have a different take on things:)
