So we've headed out on our road trip to see some friends in different parts of the US. Before we left is was important to have the car all clean. Myra decided she wanted to help Daddy wash the car. Here she is being as helpful as she knows how to be:
We left on Friday morning. Our first night was in St. Louis, Missouri.
Since we were there we figured it was worth heading out to see the St. Louis Arch - it's rather tall.
We decided to go up to the top of the Arch. To get up there you take a rather small tram car up to a cramped space with tiny windows up at the top. Having travelled in one of the tram cars there (original from 1968 btw) I now know what it might feel like to be in an escape pod from the Starship Enterprise. Anyway, here is Myra looking down through one of the tiny windows:
This is the Old St. Louis Courthouse (now a museum) at sunset. We didn't have time to go visit there.
For supper we found an Old Spaghetti Factory near the river front. They had a person coming around and making balloons, so Myra received a bunny rabbit. She did a good job of caring for it.
