Woohoo! Road Trip! :D
We've been having fun....
Myra was sooooooo excited! At first, she was asking every few minutes if we were there yet and wanted to save her snacks for eating at the hotel. She didn't really grasp at first that it would take ALL day to get there :D
Isaiah sat forward facing in his carseat for the first time. At one point, shortly after we left I looked back at him, he smiled, and proceeded to point at all the cars and trees around him while saying "ooooh!". :D

The kids were quite content for most of the trip. It took a bit more creativity and effort to keep everyone happy between 4 -5:30 pm but I'm not complaining :D
We had Pizza Hut's "Happy Family Dinner" of pasta and breadsticks. Thankfully, I had thought to bring a few dishes/utensils. :)

Running off steam... takes me right back to our family road trips. And I like that Myra wanted to save her snacks for the hotel. Too cute. Thinking of you guys lots. Keep having fun!
Have fun! Too bad your road trip isn't bringing you back to Elkhart, but I'd completely understand if you're not quite ready to come back yet. Can't believe it's been almost a whole year since I've seen you guys!
